Our productFlat-fee AI agent
Nousu is our product, so read this entry as the vendor talking. It is an AI support agent for Shopify and WooCommerce stores. It answers customers and does the work: live order lookups, return labels, and refunds within approval rules you set. You run it in copilot mode per topic, or flip routine topics to autopilot when you trust it. EU data residency, GDPR.
The honest weakness: It is not a full omnichannel helpdesk. If you need phone support, SLA workflows, or a large app ecosystem, the established platforms have years of head start there.
Pick this if: You want customer questions resolved and store actions executed without a per-ticket or per-resolution meter, or you run WooCommerce and want it treated as first-class.
Pricing: Flat €29, €79, or €149 per month, sized by conversation volume (150, 500, or 2,500). Going over a bundle never bills overage: the busiest month costs the same as the slowest. 14-day trial, no credit card. As of July 2026, per nousu.chat/pricing, July 2026.
Helpdesk AI, two meters
An established ecommerce helpdesk with deep Shopify integration and a large app ecosystem. Order data sits next to every conversation, seats are never metered, and the AI Agent ships on every plan and closes routine questions on its own.
The honest weakness: Two meters run at once: the plan meters tickets, and the AI Agent bills per resolved conversation on top, at a rate not on the public pricing page. The invoice grows with your sales curve and peaks in November.
Pick this if: You are Shopify-first, want a mature helpdesk with a big app ecosystem, and have modeled your November volume on both meters.
Pricing: $10 per month for 50 tickets, then $0.40 per extra ticket; Basic $60 for 300; Pro $360 for 2,000. AI Agent billed per resolved conversation at a rate not published publicly. As of July 2026, per gorgias.com/pricing, July 2026.
Widget bot that answers
Accessible live chat widget with the Lyro AI add-on. Quick to install, low entry price, works on Shopify and on WooCommerce through the WordPress plugin. Lyro answers frequent questions in multiple languages and does native Shopify lookups on Growth plans and up.
The honest weakness: Lyro answers; it does not act. Nothing in the published feature set covers processing a refund or changing an order, so the actual work stays in your queue.
Pick this if: You want a cheap widget and answers are enough, and you do not need the AI to execute order actions.
Pricing: Plans from $24.17 per month (annual billing); Lyro AI from $32.50 per month for 50 AI conversations, roughly $0.65 per conversation at entry volume. As of July 2026, per tidio.com/pricing, July 2026.
Helpdesk AI, billed per resolution
Fin is one of the technically strongest AI agents on the market, and Intercom publishes its rate: $0.99 per resolution, charged only when a conversation resolves. Fin can also run standalone on top of an existing helpdesk, with a monthly minimum.
The honest weakness: Intercom is built for software companies. Order status, returns, and refunds all need integration work (Procedures wired to your store) before Fin can touch them, and seats plus resolutions grow independently.
Pick this if: Your support is closer to SaaS than to a store, resolution quality is your top criterion, and you have the engineering capacity to build the store plumbing.
Pricing: Seats from $29 per seat per month (Essential, annual billing). Fin at $0.99 per resolution on top. Standalone Fin carries a minimum monthly commitment. As of July 2026, per intercom.com/pricing, July 2026.
Enterprise platform
The mature suite for large support organizations: routing, SLA management, reporting, phone, and integrations with almost everything. If your support org counts dozens of people across teams, it belongs on the shortlist.
The honest weakness: Three meters for a small team: seats, a per-agent Copilot add-on, and AI billed per automated resolution at a rate Zendesk does not publish. Ecommerce depth comes from marketplace apps, not the core product.
Pick this if: You run a large support org: multiple teams, complex routing, SLA requirements, and an ops person to own the configuration.
Pricing: Suite Team $55 per agent per month (annual billing, US list). Copilot add-on about $50 per agent per month. AI agents billed per automated resolution; the list rate is not published. Third-party breakdowns put it between $1.50 and $2.00 (Macha, eesel). As of July 2026, per zendesk.com/pricing, July 2026.
Agent-first live chat platform
A mature live chat platform from Text with a polished widget, team inbox, reporting, and more than 200 integrations. Its Shopify integration shows carts, order history, order status, and product cards inside the agent workspace. Automated customer conversations require the separate ChatBot product.
The honest weakness: The core product is built around human agents, priced per person. ChatBot starts as a separate monthly product, so the combined cost grows with both the support team and the automation layer. The public product pages describe AI answers and agent assistance, but do not document autonomous Shopify refunds or return-label creation.
Pick this if: You want a proven live chat workspace for a human support team, broad integrations, detailed reporting, and hands-on sales conversations.
Pricing: Starter $19 per month for one person, Team $49 per person per month, and Business $79 per person per month, billed annually. ChatBot starts at $52 per month. A 14-day trial is available. As of July 2026, per livechat.com/pricing, July 2026.
